Sechs auf einen Streich – Die verkaufte Prinzessin
On 25 December 2023, the fairy tale “The Bartered Princess” will be shown on ARD at 3:30 pm. Costume designer Christoph Birkner and costume assistant Annett Jäger have put together all the costumes in our historic hall, from the princess to the villains to the guards.
In this fairy tale, everyone cheats to find their desired place in life: Melisa pretends to be a man because she believes this is the only way she can work in mining. Prince Berthold feigns sibling love because he is keen on the throne. And hereditary princess Sophia deceives herself because she doesn’t trust herself to become heir to the throne. In the end, far from all the clichés, they find the place in life that suits them. (Channel info)
