We were the lucky ones
Launch of the eight-part series “We were the lucky ones” on Hulu and Disney+, based on the novel by Georgia Hunter. The historical series tells the true story of a Jewish family that is separated at the beginning of the Second World War and does everything in its power to reunite. Five siblings are scattered in all directions and try to find their way through the hard times. British costume designer Lisa Duncan borrowed costumes from the 1930s and 1940s for children, ladies and gentlemen for the film.
