Dear friends of Theaterkunst, two weeks ago, the German Film Awards were presented for the 74th time in Berlin. Ingken Benesch was honored with the LOLA for “Best Costume Design” for the film “Girl you know it’s true”. The entire team of Theaterkunst congratulates her on her award and is excited that costumes from our collection played a part in her win. You’ll find out more about the awards and about who else relied on our costume work in the THEATERKUNST AWARDS section.
Our Managing Director has been a member of the European Film Academy since May 2024. Together with 5,000 long-standing and renowned members, she is now part of this important community of European filmmakers. “I’m excited to be able to network with my European colleagues in the film business. My focus, of course, is primarily on the costume trade,” says Andrea Peters, “and it’s wonderful to see how many costume designers also became members this year.”
