Dear friends of Theaterkunst, In this issue, we take a look inside our Theaterkunst atelier. Not only are costumes being repaired every day and thus maintained for your future productions, but wonderful creations are also made in collaboration with costume designers. At THEATERKUNST ATELIER, we show you which special pieces we made for the ‘Cassandra’ series and why footballers Thomas Müller and Aleksandar Pavlović are wearing historical sports trousers made by Theaterkunst.
This year’s Berlinale once again attracts visitors with many premieres and great events. We have dutifully thrown ourselves into the cinematic turmoil, as we are involved in a total of 12 productions with our costumes.
This year’s Costume Designers Guild Awards were presented in Los Angeles at the beginning of February. Congratulations to Linda Muir, Lisy Christl and Paul Tazewell, who were honoured in the cinema category. We have summarised further details about the awards ceremony at THEATERKUNST & AWARDS.
