Dear friends of Theaterkunst, the month of May brought two celebrations that for Theaterkunst could not have been more different. On the one hand, there was the presentation of the German Film Award, with a LOLA award for “Best Costume Design” for Tanja Hausner.
In the merry month of May, however, it was also time to say goodbye to a long-time colleague as she went into her well-deserved retirement. For 28 years Gudrun Sauerbrey has stayed true to Theaterkunst, working diligently in the accounting department, radiating her calm and funny demeanor, and spoiling our team with the best cakes ever. Below you will find some photos of the farewell party, which was held completely in the style of the 1950s – her favorite era.
In Theaterkunst Talk we speak with Ulé Barcelos about her work on the series “German Genius” and ask how it was to embark on this wild ride through various eras.
