Dear friends of Theaterkunst, it’s February, which means it’s that time of the year again: The Berlinale is rolling out the red carpet in the capital! In this 74th edition of the world-renowned film festival, costumes from our collection can be found in eleven productions across the different sections of the Berlinale. In our THEATERKUNST BERLINALE section, we introduce the films along with the respective costume designers.
Our tailors put their super skills to use in the world of superheroes, creating a costume for an Edeka commercial based on a design by costume designer Dorota Budna. You’ll find out all about it in the section THEATERKUNST BESPOKE.
In THEATERKUNST TALK we speak with costume designer Nicole Fischnaller about her current project “Constellation”, her 30 years of trust in our collection and about how a team manages a production with shooting locations in multiple countries.
