Newsletter December 2023
Dear friends of Theaterkunst, the year is coming to a close, so this will be the last newsletter we send out in 2023. We’ll be back as usual in 2024, but stay tuned for some new editorial ideas. At this point we’d like to give a big thank you to all our readers. We’ve been getting such nice feedback from you, which always makes our team happy!
In this issue you’ll find out, among other things, which production won the iEmmy, who received the European Film Award and who took home the DAfFNE for “Best Costume Design”.
Just in time for Christmas, the fairy tale “Sechs auf einen Streich – Die verkaufte Prinzessin” can be seen on ARD on December 25th, 2023. Christoph Birkner and his team found many of the costumes in our historical collection. In our last THEATERKUNST TALK of the year, we speak with him about the difference between the costume business in Austria and Germany, and about what makes our costume collection so unique.
