Dear friends of Theaterkunst, after a relaxing Easter break, we’re back on track and full steam ahead. Our tailor shop is busy with the production of various historical costumes. Skirts are being gathered, corsets sewn and petticoats made. We can’t reveal much more just yet, but you’ll be reading about it soon.
The next big film industry highlight is the presentation of the German Film Awards on May 12th, 2023. We’re very excited about the nomination of three costume designers Lisy Christl, Regina Tiedeken and Tanja Hausner in the category “Best Costume Design”, and we can’t wait to find out who will win the LOLA.
To mark the cinema release of “Someday We’ll Tell Each Other Everything”, we speak with costume designer Gitti Fuchs, and we ask what time period her dream project would be set in. You’ll find the answer to that question and more in the section “Theaterkunst Talk”.
