Swiss cinema release for “Jakobs Ross”, based on the novel e by Silva Tschui. A young farmer who dreams of owning his own horse is forced into marriage with a musically gifted maid who longs for a career as a musician. A story about dreams of social advancement and self-realisation set in 19th century Switzerland. The Swiss costume designer Ursina Schmid relied on our historical collection for the authentic costumes.
