German Film Awards 2026 – Costume Design
Congratulations to costume designer Sabrina Krämer on winning the 2026 German Film Award in the category ‘Best Costume Design’ for the film “Sound of Falling”!
With great artistic precision and a keen sense of four distinct time periods, varied atmospheres and a host of characters, Sabrina Krämer has played a decisive role in shaping the visual world of the film, which won awards in a total of ten categories.
We would also like to extend our warmest congratulations to the other nominated costume designers, Birgit Missal for “Amrum” and Tatiana Dolmatovskaya for “The Disappearance of Josef Mengele”.
