Etty
The six-part miniseries “Etty” premieres on ARTE on 21 May 2026 and is already available in the ARTE Mediathek. As fascism takes hold in Amsterdam, Jewish student Etty seeks solace with the older, unconventional psychochirologist Julius Spier. The drama series is inspired by the writings of the Dutch intellectual Etty Hillesum, who was murdered in Auschwitz in 1943 at the age of 29.
Costume designer Gioia Raspé has primarily used costumes from our modern collection for this production, as director Hagai Levi has set the story in the present day.
