Let Sleeping Dogs Lie
The black comedy “Let Sleeping Dogs Lie” hits cinemas. Marianne (Corinna Harfouch) is rather taken aback when she finds her husband dead in his bed on the morning of his 100th birthday. He has skilfully avoided the lavish celebration with relatives and the local press by taking an overdose of tablets – originally intended for the family’s pug, Berlusconi. An outrage that Marianne has no intention of making public. And so the family finds itself forced to stage an absurd charade in order to maintain the image of the respected model family in front of the invited guests.
Costume designer Tanja Liebermann has hired a selection of items from our costume house for this production.
