Barbara Baum (1944 – 2023)
Barbara Baum – A great costume designer has passed away. After learning tailoring and studying fashion design, she came to film and stayed. In 2015 she was awarded the Honorary Award for Outstanding Services to German Film at the German Film Awards. She was closely associated with Theaterkunst. For many of her outfitted productions, she had costumes made by us or borrowed them from the fundus. With her incomparable passion for costume design, she will remain in our memories!
