Giorgio Armani (1934 – 2025)
Italian designer Giorgio Armani has died. He began his career as a window dresser and buyer for a Milan department store chain before founding his own brand in 1975, which went on to achieve worldwide fame.
As a self-confessed film lover, his creations have appeared in over 200 films, including ‘American Gigolo’ (1980), ‘The Untouchables’ (1987), ‘Inglourious Basterds’ (2009) and ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ (2013).
