In My Mother’s Mirror
On 13 August 2026, “In My Mother’s Mirror” is set to be released in cinemas. Ursula (Corinna Harfouch), a successful archaeologist and university professor, makes a sensational discovery whilst excavating in the moor. At the same time, she is coming to terms with the death of her mother (Hildegard Schmahl). As she clears out her parents’ house, the boundaries between the present and the past begin to blur for Ursula.
Costume designer Eugina Giesbrecht has borrowed various contemporary costumes, as well as items of clothing for flashbacks to the protagonist’s childhood, from our costume collection.
