Nuremberg
The historical drama “Nuremberg” is set to hit cinemas. Following the end of the Second World War, those responsible are put on trial in Nuremberg. Psychiatrist Douglas Kelly (Rami Malek) is tasked with determining whether one of the main defendants, Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), is fit to stand trial. Kelly visits him regularly in his cell to get a sense of his character through conversation.
Costume designer Bartholomew Cariss has collaborated with Theaterkunst for the first time on this production and has found a wide range of costumes in both the uniform store and our 1930s and 1940s collection to ensure the film is historically accurate. The judges’ robes for the court scenes also come from our collection.
Bart says about our costume house: „You opened your door to us and were so welcoming and supportive. I was blown away by the quality of the stock and even after we had done our main pull of stock the support continued when we started filming in Budapest.”
Starring, among others, Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Michael Shannon and Tom Keune; produced by Bluestone Entertainment; directed by James Vanderbilt; costume design by Bartholomew Cariss
