Münter u0026amp; Kandinsky
Cinema release for ‘Münter & Kandinsky’. The film shows the years spent together by Gabriele Münter and Wassily Kandinsky, an extraordinary pair of artists and passionate lovers. During their time in Murnau, they questioned previous artistic conventions and the era of the dawn of modern art began.
We visited costume designer Mirjam Muschel and her team on set. Many of the costumes come from our collection from around 1900.
