The Physician II
On December 25, 2025, “The Physician II” will be released in theaters. The sequel to the 2013 historical drama is once again set in the 11th century: After fleeing Isfahan, the physician Rob Cole and his companions end up in his old home of London, where he hopes to spread his medical knowledge. He soon becomes entangled in the intrigues of the royal family and once again has to fight: for the lives of his patients, for recognition of his work, and against a whole new challenge—the suffering of the human psyche.
Costume designer Julia Szlávik borrowed various robes, tunics, capes, doublets, vests, shoes, and coats from our historical costume hall to create the historical look of the film.
