Silent Friend
Silent Friend, which premiered last year at the Venice International Film Festival, will be released in cinemas on 15 January 2026. The film tells three stories and personal experiences set in 2020, 1972 and 1908, each of which is connected to an old ginkgo tree in Marburg’s botanical garden.
Costume designer Peri De Braganca found contemporary fashion for this production, as well as costumes from around 1900 and from the 1970s for the different time periods in the film.
