From 30 October 2025, No Hit Wonder, with costume design by Ulé Barcelos, will be available to view and listen to in cinemas. Daniel (Florian David Fitz), once a celebrated musician, is at rock bottom and wakes up in a secure psychiatric ward after a failed suicide attempt. Dr Lissi Waldstett (Nora Tschirner), a happiness researcher working in the psychiatric ward, is looking for a breakthrough in her research topic. When their paths cross, a crazy plan emerges: a group of lonely people are to find happiness again through singing, of all things. Two lost souls, a group of lovable misfits – and a song that could change everything.
