Lee
Cinema release of the biopic “Lee”, in which Kate Winslet impressively plays the photographer and photojournalist Lee Miller (1907-1977). Model, artist, photographer – Lee Miller initially worked as a model from 1927 before deciding to become a photographer and going to the front in France as a photojournalist in the middle of the war. There she documented the horrors of the Second World War. Her photos became powerful testimonies to this time and stayed with Lee for the rest of her life.
The British costume designer and Oscar winner Michael O’Connor has used several pieces from our extensive children’s department for these productions.
