Cinema release of the film adaptation of the novel ‘22 Bahnen’. Tilda’s (Luna Wedler) days in a small town are strictly regimented: studying, working at the supermarket checkout, swimming and looking after her little sister Ida (Zoë Baier), because her mother (Laura Tonke) is not always able to do so. But then Tilda is offered a PhD position in Berlin. And Viktor (Jannis Niewöhner) enters her life, who, just like her, swims exactly 22 laps every day.
Caroline Wahl’s novel has quite a few fans among the Theaterkunst team. So we are very happy that costumes from our collection are playing an important role in the film adaptation. Christian Röhrs and his team found several pieces in our collection that give the main actors the perfect look. We visited the costume team on the film set in Berlin and put together a photo gallery.
Tilda’s denim jacket comes from our 80s department and was revamped in our studio for her appearance in the film.
