Spaziergang nach Syrakus
Cinema release of ‘Spaziergang nach Syrakus’. A trip to Syracuse and back – that is Paul Gompitz’s dream. He wants to travel to Sicily to follow in the footsteps of the poet Johann Gottlieb Seume. There’s just one problem: it’s 1982 and Paul lives in the GDR. All his attempts to obtain official permission to leave the country fail. So he plans his escape, but he also wants to return home afterwards.
Costume designer Anette Schröder hired a wide range of GDR-era clothing from our ladies’ and gentlemen’s costume collection for the productions.
