Award for “Best Costume Design” at the Achtung Berlin Film Festival
Congratulations to costume designer Chiara Minchio on winning the award for “Best Costume Design” at the Achtung Berlin Film Festival for her work on “The Diaries of Adam and Eve”. Theaterkunst is this year’s partner and award sponsor. We are supporting the category with a non-cash prize for costume hire in our collection.
The Achtung Berlin Film Festival took place from 10 to 17 April 2024 and screened over 80 films from and about Berlin and Brandenburg in nine cinemas. The 20th edition of the film festival opened with the feature film “Milk Teeth”, for which costume designer Ulé Barcelos used costumes from our collection.
In the Production Design and Costume Design jury, costume designer Metin Misdik and the two production designers Monika Bauert and Lars Lange decided on the winners, who were announced on 17 April 2024.
