Storm Is Coming
The literary adaptation ‘Sturm kommt auf’ is currently being shown on ZDF and in the media library. After the end of the First World War, the rise of National Socialism divides a Bavarian village community. The peace-loving cobbler Kraus becomes increasingly entangled in the maelstrom of political events between 1918 and 1933, until the disclosure of his Jewish identity ultimately proves fatal.
Costume designer Brigitta Fink and her team found dresses, blouses, cardigans, uniforms and shoes from around 1930 for this production.
