ZDF is dedicating a ‘TV film of the week’ to its unforgotten quizmaster Hans Rosenthal (‘Dalli Dalli’) for his 100th birthday on 2 April 2025, which shows the entertainer from a previously largely unknown side: in the conflict between show business and his past as a Jewish person in Germany. The film is now available in the ZDF media library and will celebrate its TV premiere on 7 April.
Costume designer Christian Röhrs and Juliane Maier provide insights into the zeitgeist of the 1970s with flashbacks to Rosenthal’s past. Several tailor-made suits were made in our studio for Florian Lukas as Hans Rosenthal.
