Der Palast – Season 2
It’s time to dance again! From today, six new episodes of ‘Der Palast’ are available in the ZDF Mediathek before they are broadcast on ZDF on 6-8 January 2025. The second season begins after the fall of the Berlin Wall. But times have changed: The ensemble of the legendary Friedrichstadt Palast dances in front of half-empty rows and the new artistic director has completely different ideas for the world’s biggest show stage.
Costume designer Dorothée Kriener has created a dazzling costume design that not only impresses with beautiful dance outfits, but also perfectly captures the look of Berlin in the post-reunification years.
